inconsistent housekeepingbasic breakfast

I found the room to be less excellent than anticipated. the air conditioning didn't seem to work properly, a problem given the weather. also, housekeeping was inconsistent. My room wasn't cleaned on a couple of days. the breakfast was quite basic, i thought. it felt more like a 3-star experience than a 4-star one.

I must say, I was underwhelmed. The promised air conditioning was a blatant lie. It did not work at all. The room had a rather peculiar smell, not unlike sewage I believe. the staff were not rude, just standoffish. Good.

The hotel offered breakfast with many choices. The location was central to main attractions. The hotel provided clean room and premises.

The bathroom had a piece of plastic covering the reveal for the pipework. Generally, the room design was grubby. The receptionist had zero personality during a disastrous check in because the computer was down.
